Greetings from the Washington D.C. General Fund Committee!
The General Fund provides financial support to the Washington D.C. trip by paying for almost everything you DON'T see on the trip. Some of these items include printing, photocopying, stamps, office supplies, administrative expenses, first aid kits, frame for the group photo in the middle school, snacks and water for the trip, etc. While the parents focus on fundraising for their trip as well as their child's trip, we fundraise to cover the behind the scene expenses, so as not to add to the cost of the trip for families. We are planning many events throughout the next year and a half that appeal to both parents and kids. Details of each general fundraising event will be communicated in future newsletters, flyers, school announcements and on our Facebook page:
